The Team Behind the Ridge
Becky Holley
Founder & Director
Becky Holley is the founder and director of The Bramble & Ridge Foundation, a developing veteran wellness, conservation, and retreat initiative located near Whitehall, Montana.
Originally from San Diego, California, Becky attended Arizona State University as a Division I track and field athlete, becoming a two-time national champion, two-time Pac-10 champion, and later being inducted into the Arizona State University Hall of Fame for Track & Field in 2023.
Before entering military service, Becky worked in education, communications, and sports media, including substitute teaching and television sports reporting. Those experiences helped shape her passion for storytelling, community connection, and mentorship long before founding The Bramble & Ridge.
Nearly a decade after graduating college, Becky joined the United States Air Force, where she served in high-performance operational and leadership environments as a pilot and instructor. Over the course of her military career, she supported personnel development, operations, communications, and national security programs across multiple assignments and federal agencies. While active duty, she completed her Masters in Business Administration Communication from the University of the Incarnate Word.
After navigating the long-term effects of traumatic brain injury (TBI), post-traumatic stress, and the difficult transition many veterans and first responders face after service, Becky began developing The Bramble & Ridge as a different kind of support environment — one centered around nature, purpose, conservation, peer connection, and restorative outdoor experiences.
The name “The Bramble & Ridge” reflects the project’s core philosophy: that difficult seasons and resilience often exist side by side. The vision is to create a place where veterans, first responders, and families can reconnect with themselves, their communities, and the land in a grounded, non-clinical setting.
Built from the ground up on 160 acres in Montana, the project combines conservation stewardship, agritourism, retreat spaces, and wellness programming into a long-term mission focused on connection, purpose, and sustainable impact.
Becky continues to build The Bramble & Ridge step by step through grassroots development, conservation partnerships, community support, and a lifelong commitment to service beyond uniformed military life.
