Commitment to Transparency
As an IRS Pending 501(c)(3) nonprofit and Montana Secretary of State approved entity, The Bramble & Ridge is built on a foundation of trust. Transparency isn't just a legal requirement for us; it's a core component of our organizational integrity. We believe that by keeping our community informed and our operations open, we create a more resilient and supportive environment for our veterans, our livestock, and the Montana soil we steward together.
How Your Gift Grows
60% — Veterans Programs: Peer-led agricultural retreats, stable healing, and restorative farm labor.
25% — Farm Stewardship: Native prairie renewal, water management, and livestock care for our Highland cattle.
15% — Administration: Essential governance, transparency reporting, and building our nonprofit foundation.
Governance & Trust
The Bramble & Ridge is guided by a dedicated Board of Directors who provide rigorous oversight of our programmatic impact and financial stewardship. Our governance structure ensures that every decision aligns with our core mission of land renewal and veteran support, maintaining the highest levels of accountability to our community and donors.
A strict conflict-of-interest policy governs all board actions and financial decisions. Leaders are required to disclose any potential interests to prevent personal gain from nonprofit activities. This policy is reviewed annually to ensure our restorative work remains untainted by outside influence, keeping our focus solely on being a sanctuary for those who served.
